Israeli airstrikes continue around the non-operational Al Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, endangering life-supporting devices, including those for infants. The Palestinian Red Crescent warned of dehydration among Palestinian infants due to the disruption of baby formula under the current siege.
Gaza’s health ministry spokesman, Ashraf al-Qedra, reported at least five casualties in the past hours due to power outages after the hospital ran out of fuel. Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Richard Hecht denied targeting or besieging the Al Shifa complex, claiming that efforts to evacuate babies are hindered by Hamas interference.
Regarding negotiations on the release of hostages, two Hamas officials denied suspending talks with Israel.
