HARARE – Nyaradzo Group, Zimbabwe’s largest funeral services firm said on Monday it was entering into asset management as part of its exponential expansion programme.
Nyaradzo is
controlled by funerals mogul, Philip Mataranyika.
A spokesman said the Securities and Exchange
Commission of Zimbabwe (SECZ) had already issued Nyaradzo with a licence to
operate the asset management company. He said the new venture will allow it to
broaden the range of services available to their clients. “When customers
walk into any of our service centres, they must get solutions to all their
financial needs under one roof. This new business represents another step
towards making our group a truly composite financial services group,” a
Nyaradzo spokesperson said.
